About UsThe Dogs Frolics was started as a result of pressure from visitors to my local dog club. They would visit, bemoaning the lack of decent food for their dogs and the fact that a small supermarket bag wouldn't last long enough. They also noticed their dogs were "hyperactive" and "out of condition".
After discussing with myself and the other trainers the other brands of food available, their first question was "Where do I get this marvellous food ?!"
I started by helpfully buying a couple of extra bags along with my own, the number of bags gradually increased and The Dogs Frolics was born.
| About The FoodYou may not have heard of these brands before, they are generally not sold in supermarkets on a large scale basis. This is to keep quality up and prices and overheads down. If you are unsure of the brands please use the links page to visit the manufacturers and read all about the food.
All the dog and cat foods sold here are dry complete kibble. Tinned food is approximately 80% water. If you want to add water to our dry food, go ahead but don't pay for someone else to put it in a tin for you !

The accessories stocked are also to the same high standard. The ID tags are top quality materials and are milled, not engraved. This means the lettering lasts a lot longer. The tags also take up to 6 lines of text on both sides so you can put your mobile and vets details on as well as conventional details.
Leads and collars are chosen for quality and materials, the leads are mostly woven rope which is softer on the hands and, in a lot of cases can be machine washed to keep the appearance (or after your dog has rolled in something nasty and smelly !). There are even rope leads with a reflective weave for safety on dark nights.
Toys are chosen for quality and also functionality. Along with traditional squeaky toys, there are toys with electronic noise boxes in for added interest and also Kong toys. The rubber Kongs can be stuffed with treats for when your dog is left. All the tennis Kongs float, which are great for seaside trips ! The tennis Kongs with ropes are useful for tiring out more energetic dogs as it enables you to throw the toy further !
Most of the products here have been thoroughly tested and are in day to day use !
